Drug & Alcohol Prevention

Our Prevention Programs are designed to address the risks that make it more likely that kids will use drugs and alcohol or make other unsafe decisions. These programs include educational activities that take place in our youth centers and outreach programs, as well as educational presentations for schools, community groups, and parents. We are also involved in many community coalitions and groups throughout the county to help heighten awareness about drug and alcohol issues and their impact on the community. Many of the prevention activities we provide are evidence-based programs such as Too Good for Drugs, Too Good for Violence, Strengthening Families Program 10-14, Aggression Replacement Training, Wanna Bet, Girls Circle, Boys Circle, We Know Better, and Project Drug Free.
