AmeriCorps Positions Available The YSB is accepting applications from individuals interested in dedicating themselves to the needs of runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. Duties include tutoring, mentoring, volunteer recruitment, and providing activities at after-school drop-in centers. Commitment of 10 months to 1 year required, starting September 1, 2011. Full-time individuals receive a living stipend and health insurance, plus an educational award in exchange for 1700 hours of service. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. College degree, college credits, and/or experience with children and youth preferred. Positions will be filled immediately.
