The Better 2gether Collab
The Youth Service Bureau, in partnership with the YMCA of Centre County, Centre Safe, Centre County Children and Youth Services, and Mount Nittany Health, formed the Better 2gether Collab—a multi-organization team dedicated to advocating for the youth of Centre County.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month & Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Throughout April, The Better 2gether Collab will be hosting different events to promote keeping the youth of Centre County safe.

Our Annual Healthy Kids Day is on Saturday, March 29th from 1 pm – 4 pm. This is a great and positive way to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month. Vendors can register here: YMCA of Centre County Healthy Kids Day

Tuesday, April 8 from 10-11 AM—Sexual Assault Awareness Month Proclamation. Located at the Willowbank Building in Bellefonte.
Thursday, April 17 from 4-7:30 PM—Honoring Survival: Transforming the Spirit, a collaborative event with the R-VOICE Center of Penn State University to honor the strength and resiliency of survivors through various art forms. Located at the Palmer Museum of Art in University Park.
Wednesday, April 23 all day—Denim Day, a day of action and unity dedicated to the wearing of denim to support survivors and awareness efforts around sexual violence.
Wednesday, April 23 from 5-6:30 PM—State College Friends Dinner for Centre Safe. Join State College Friends for a Mexican dinner in support of Centre Safe. The dinner is free, and all donations benefit Centre Safe. Located at 611 E. Prospect Ave., State College.
