Drug & Alcohol Prevention

Our Prevention Programs are designed to address the risks that make it more likely that youth ages 5-18 will use drugs and alcohol or make other unhealthy decisions. These programs include educational activities that take place in our youth centers and outreach programs, as well as educational presentations for schools, community groups, and parents. Many of the prevention activities we provide are evidence-based programs such as Too Good for Drugs, Too Good for Violence, Strengthening Families Program 10-14, Not on Tobacco, INDEPTH, Girls Circle, Guys Circle, Project Towards no Drug Abuse, Safe Dates, Teens & Tech, and more! Our FREE programs are offered to all 5 school districts throughout Centre County. If you are interested in learning more about our school based programs please reach out to Haley, the Director of Prevention, at hrhone@ccysb.com.
